Summer Fruit Salad - Red, White, and Blue Salad

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons honey Note 1
  • ¼ cup orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 medium zest of lemon
  • 1 medium zest of orange
  • 6 ounces blackberries
  • 6 ounces blueberries
  • 6 ounces raspberries
  • 10 strawberries, chopped
  • 3 apples, chopped use any sweet variety such as fuji or gala apples.

Instructions

  • To make the dressing, in a small bowl whisk together the honey, orange juice, orange zest, and lemon zest. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl add all the fruit. 
  • Pour the dressing over the fruit and gently combine so the fruit is completely coated with the dressing.

Note 1: Can add 2 more Tablespoons (¼ cup total) of honey, if one would like it sweeter.
