A DIY Steak Seasoning recipe is economical and a better-for-you spice blend. The steak seasoning creates a delicious spice crust for any steak or burger. This is also a great hostess gift.

  • Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl and whisk together until combined well.
  • Store the seasoning blend in an airtight covered container in the pantry for up to one month. Do not freeze.

Variations:
  • Have a love of onion in your seasonings? Add a Tablespoon of onion powder or dried onion to the seasoning rub.
  •  If you don’t have paprika, you can skip it as it’s mostly for color more than anything.
  • Prefer a smoky flavor, use smoked paprika in lieu of regular paprika.
  • If you like an herby vibe with your steak, add a Tablespoon of dried rosemary to the mix as well.
 
Storage:  Store the steak seasoning in a covered airtight container or mason jar in the pantry for up to a month. Do not freeze.
