Chicken Bacon Ranch Stromboli

Easy and delicious chicken bacon ranch calzone.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 6-8 slices cooked bacon
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 Tablespoons green onion, minced
  • ½ cup ranch dressing,homemade or store bought
  • 1 medium egg, whisked

Instructions

  • Use 12 Rhodes Bake-N-Serv® thawed to roll together to make the dough.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Roll dough out to a 15 by 10 inch rectangle.
  • In a large bowl, combine shredded cooked chicken, cooked bacon, green onions, shredded cheese, and ranch dressing.
  • Place a Tablespoon of ranch dressing down the center of the dough.
  • Evenly place the chicken mixture down the center of the dough, on the ranch dressing.
  • Roll the dough to enclose the chicken mixture.
  • Place the stromboli, seam side down on a baking sheet. Brush beaten egg on the dough.
  • Slice a few vents in the dough so air escapes.
  • Place baking sheet in center rack of the oven.
  • Bake about 20-25 minutes. Check stromboli. The exterior should be hard and crispy.
  • Remove chicken stromboli from oven, let cool about 5-6 minutes.
  • Slice and serve with more ranch dressing.

Notes

Note 1: use precooked chicken from Instant Pot shredded chicken.
