Instructions
How to make Strawberry Syrup
In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the strawberries, sugar, and water.
Cook, stirring occasionally for around 30 minutes or until the strawberries are soft.
Remove from heat and strain into a container. Set aside to cool down.
Strawberry Iced Tea
In a small saucepan, over medium heat, add 2 cups of water.
Heat the water to a rolling boil.
Remove from the heat and add the tea bags.
Let the tea steep for 5 minutes. Then discard the tea bags
Add the sugar and stir to combine.
Pour the strawberry syrup into a pitcher, add the tea and the remaining 4 cups of water.
Pour in the lemon juice and stirring once more.
Fill glasses with ice and serve.

Note 1: Sliced strawberries will release more juice for flavor into the water.Note 2: The deeper the color of the strawberry, the riper the strawberry. Keep in an airtight covered container or mason jar in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep the iced tea in the fridge in a large pitcher.
