Guinness Braised

    Corned Beef & Cabbage

Add corned beef to either a slow cooker or large dutch oven. Cover with Guinness beer, water, an onion, garlic, and black peppercorns. 

If using the slow cooker, set to low for 6-7 hours. A Dutch Oven, for 3 hours.  Then add in potatoes, cabbage and carrots... simmer another 30 -40 minutes, until veggies are for tender.
