Chili Seasoning is a homemade seasoning that is bold and spicy. A great seasoning to add to chilis, chicken, beef, and vegetable recipes. A great recipe to start and vary the spice to your liking.

  • In a small mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, chili powder, ground cumin, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Use immediately or store in a covered airtight container for up to one year.

Notes

Tips: 
  • If you prefer a lot of spice, add  ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper to the seasoning mix.
  • Want a sweeter seasoning, add a teaspoon of sugar.
  •  Add an extra Tablespoon of chili powder if you prefer a bold flavor.
  • You’ll want to taste this and adjust the seasonings to your personal preferences. Everyone likes it just a little differently, so start from here and if you like it, awesome, if not, tweak it just how you like it.
  • Be sure to smash up any clumps in your seasoning so it’s nice and smooth.
