Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or any of your favorites such as chicken or turkey
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 hamburger slider buns
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and diced
  • ¼ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 Tablespoons milk
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • jalapeno and bacon slices, optional topping

Instructions

Air Fryer Instructions

  • Divide the beef into six servings (about 2.6 ounces). To make the sliders, in the palms of your hands, roll them into balls, and then flatten them. Lightly salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Add the slider patties to the basket of the air fryer. Air fryer sizes vary so add as many as you can without crowding the patties. They shrink as they cook.
  • Cook the patties at 370°F/190°C for 5 minutes. Then flip for 5 more minutes.
  • While your patties are cooking, in a medium size bowl, mix together the cream cheese, Jalapeño peppers, shredded cheese, milk, and bacon.
  • Once your patties are done, transfer them to the bottom half of the slider roll. Add a dollop of the cream cheese mixture. Optional, garnish with bacon and jalapeno sliced.
  • Place the top half of the slider roll onto the burger and cream cheese mixture.

Grilling instructions:  Spray a grill pan with non-stick spray and heat the grill pan over medium-high heat. Once warm, add the sliders to the pan and cook for about 5 minutes to brown, then flip and cook another 3 to 5 minutes depending on how well done you prefer your burger. It is advised to cook the burgers to an internal temperature of 165°F. Assemble the burgers as described in the recipe.
