Equipment
Instructions
This is an overview of the recipe. The full instructions are below in the recipe card.
- Divide the beef into six servings (about 2.6 ounces). To make the sliders, in the palms of your hands, roll them into balls, and then flatten them. Lightly salt and pepper on both sides.
- Add the slider patties to the basket of the air fryer. Air fryer sizes vary so add as many as you can without crowding the patties. They shrink as they cook.
- Cook the patties at 370°F/190°C for 5 minutes. Then flip for 5 more minutes.
- While your patties are cooking, in a medium size bowl, mix together the cream cheese, Jalapeño peppers, shredded cheese, milk, and bacon.
- Once your patties are done, transfer them to the bottom half of the slider roll. Add a dollop of the cream cheese mixture. Optional, garnish with bacon and jalapeno sliced
- Place the top half of the slider roll onto the burger and cream cheese mixture.
Storage
Leftover sliders can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. I recommend that you store the meat and cream cheese mixture separately.
Slider patties can be reheated in the microwave or for a freshly made taste you can reheat them in a pan on medium heat on top of the stove with a little water or beef broth. The pan method prevents the burgers when drying out when reheated.
Expert Tips
Expert Tip: If you prefer a well-done slider, you can add an additional 3 to 5 minutes to the cook time.
