- In a large bowl mix honey, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, Hoisin Sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and black pepper
- Remove half of the marinade and pour into a medium-sized bowl. Store in the refrigerator until ready to make the wings.
- Add the chicken wings to the first bowl of marinade. Let flavors blend for at least 6 hours up to overnight.
- Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 350° F /180°C.
- Place 6 to 7 wings in the air fryer basket. Cook for 5 minutes on one side then turn the chicken and cook for another 5 minutes or until nicely browned.
- Repeat with the rest of the chicken wings.
