How to Store Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries
Storage - For the ultimate flavor, I recommend storing the Milk Chocolate Covered Strawberries in the refrigerator and eating them within 2 days.
Freezer: Chocolate-covered strawberries can be frozen. However, I do not recommend doing so. The strawberries get mushy once they defrost.
Eileen's Tips for the Best Chocolate Strawberries
- Strawberries: Please use fresh strawberries and wipe them with a paper towel to dry before decorating.
- Frozen strawberries will not work; they will get mushy.
- Chocolate-covered strawberries are a simple dish with just a few ingredients. Use the best melting chocolate for delicious results.
- Dry the fresh strawberries with a paper towel so the chocolate adheres. Any moisture on the berries will affect the chocolate from sticking.
- If the chocolate thickens, reheat for 10–15 seconds until smooth again.
- For perfect drizzles, let the base chocolate set well on the strawberries before adding the drizzle.
