Air Fryer Bananas

Bananas in the air fryer are a delicious way of cooking bananas. The bananas are sprinkled with light brown sugar and cinnamon which caramelizes the bananas. Serve on their own or with any of your favorite toppings such as chocolate or caramel. Great served as banana splits for dessert.

  • Place parchment paper into the basket of the air fryer.
  • In a small mixing bowl, mix together the light brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Cut each banana lengthwise.
  • Add as many banana slices as you can into the air fryer basket without overcrowding the air fryer.
  • Sprinkle 1 ½ Tablespoons of the brown sugar/ cinnamon mixture evenly distributed over each slice of banana.
  • Cooking them in the air fryer for 10 minutes at 400°F/205°C. The bananas will be caramelized and nice and soft.
  • Remove and transfer to a serving dish. Top with ice cream, whip cream, sprinkles, caramel or chocolate sauce, nuts, and maraschino cherries.
  • To make a banana split, top the bananas with ice cream, whip cream, sprinkles, caramel or chocolate sauce, nuts, and maraschino cherries, and enjoy.
