    Expert Tips

Expert Tip: Slicing the bananas long ways helps them cook evenly and keeps them from overcrowding the air fryer.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What fruit can you put in the air fryer?

You can cook just about any fruit in the air fryer. This air fryer banana recipe is one of my favorites, but you can also air fry apples, pineapple, peaches, and more.

Can I put parchment paper in an air fryer?

Yes, you can! Parchment paper helps to prevent sticking and makes cleanup a breeze. Make sure to use parchment paper that is made for air fryers and is oven-safe.

What's the best way to slice bananas for a banana split?

I like to slice my bananas lengthwise so they cook evenly.
The bananas can also be sliced into 1-inch thick rounds but the cooking time will be reduced to about 6 to 7 minutes.
