Mummy Taco Bread
My niece keeps me thinking. She loves Holidays and Halloween is one of her favorites. She knows I don't like to be scared and she's constantly scaring me and let's remember she is only almost 7.
Although I can't compete with scarring people, I am always thinking how can I wow her with food. This Mummy Taco Bread is a winner with my niece! She absolutely loved it and she doesn't need to know that it was super easy to make ssshhh, our secret.
What I love even more about this bread is that you can make it year round. When it's not Halloween, just make the bread without twisting the bread slices. Everyone wins with this taco bread.

Awesome Debra. Glad the bread was a success.
Brynda Bemis
I made this with a whole loaf of bread dough, rolled it out. We had eaten tacos two days earlier. I wanted to have them another way. I added onions, peppers and refried beans. After rolling out the dough, placed upgraded taco meat and cheddar cheese, pinched together baked 30 min. Sliced, laid on a bed of lettuce with sour cream and salsa. No guacamole:(. We absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for sharing!!! 5 star!!

Hi Brynda, you made my day. I'm so glad you enjoyed the taco bread and I am thrilled everyone enjoyed it. I so much appreciate you letting me know how much you enjoyed the recipe.
Nancy Zanios
It looks like you spread cheddar cheese on the meat before you stared folding the sides of the dough up, there is no mention of cheese in the ingredients or in the directions.

Hi Nancy, my apologies and thank you for letting me know. I have updated the recipe to include the cheese. I love cheese, how could I forget it 🙂
