Step 1: Preheat oven to 425°F/220°C. IN a small mixing bowl
Step 2: Use either a homemade or store-bought pizza dough and roll it out to a 15" x 10" rectangle. Set aside.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cooked chicken, bacon, green onions, shredded cheese, and ranch dressing, until well combined. Start with ½ cup of ranch dressing and add more if needed.
Step 4: Evenly place the chicken mixture down the center of the long side of the pizza dough.
Step 5: Roll the dough to enclose the chicken. Seam side down.
Step 6: Brush the egg on the dough. The egg wash is made by whisking together egg and water until well combined. Specific instructions on the recipe card below.
Step 7: Make a few slits in the dough so air gets released as the stromboli bakes.
Step 8: Bake in preheated 400°F/200°C oven for about 20-25 minutes.
Step 9: Let rest a few minutes before slicing. Serve with more ranch or blue cheese dressing.

Ingredients
- 1 pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
- 1 Tablespoon all-purpose flour for the surface so dough does not stick
- 2 cups shredded chicken, cooked
- 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 Tablespoons green onion, minced
- ½ - 1 cup ranch dressing
Egg Wash
- 1 medium egg
- 1 Tablespoon water
Serving Sauce
- 1 cup ranch dressing, homemade or store bought

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F/200°C.
- Sprinkle the flour on a flat surface. Roll pizza dough out to a 15" x 10" inch rectangle.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cooked chicken, crumbled bacon, green onions, shredded cheese, and ½ cup of ranch dressing until well combined. (if needed, add more ranch dressing)
- Evenly place the chicken mixture down the center of the long side of the dough.
- Roll the dough to enclose the chicken mixture.
- Place the dough, seam side down on a baking sheet. Brush the egg wash on the dough.
- Use a knife to slice a few on the top of the dough to allow air to escape.
- Place the baking sheet on the center rack of the preheated oven.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes. Check stromboli. The exterior should be hard and crispy and the interior cooked through.
- Remove chicken stromboli from oven, let cool about 5 minutes.
- Slice and serve with more ranch dressing.
