    • Blue curaçao Liqueur

    Blue Layer

    1. Add the blue curaçao, pineapple rum, pina colada mix, pineapple juice, and ice to a blender or food processor.
    2. Blend on high until smooth.
    3. Pour into a pitcher and then set to the side while you make the white layer.

    White Layer

    1. Add the white rum, pina colada mix, and ice to the blender or food processor.
    2. Blend on high until smooth, add the mixture to a pitcher, set aside.

    Create the cocktail

    1. Scoop one scoop of the blue cocktail mixture with an ice cream scoop and add to your serving glass.
    2. Next, add a scoop of the white layer to the glass.
    3. Repeat another blue colada and white colada layer until the glass is full.
    4. Lightly tap the glass to allow the mixtures to combine and settle.
    5. With a tall straw gently swirl or stir your cocktail.
    6. Garnish the glass with maraschino cherries and a pineapple wedge.

    • Add an umbrella for a fun garnish and presentation!
    • Don't skip the blue curcaco as that gives this cocktail its beautiful color.
    • If you have an older or smaller blender you will need to blend for several minutes get the ice completely crushed.

    No, you can serve this cocktail in any type of tall glass you like. I prefer the look of a hurricane glass but it is not necessary.

    Blue Layer

    • 4 ounces Blue Curacao Liqueur

    Instructions

    Blue Layer

    • To a blender add all of your cocktail ingredients, blue curacao, pineapple rum, pina colada mix, pineapple juice and ice.
    • Blend on high until smooth. Pour into a small container or pitcher.
    • Set to the side.

    White Layer

    • Add to a blender all of your cocktail ingredients, white rum, pina colada mix, and ice.
    • Blend on high until smooth. Pour into a small container or pitcher.
    • Set to the side.

    Create the cocktail

    • Using a small cookie cutter ice cream scoop, scoop out the blue cocktail mixture and add to the glass
    • Scoop out the white rum mixture and add to the glass.
    • Scoop out another blue mixture and add to the glass.
    • Scoop out another portion of the white rum mixture and add to the glass.
    • Repeat until the glass is full.
    • Lightly tap the glass on the counter to allow the cocktail mixtures to combine and settle to the bottom.
    • Take a tall straw and insert it into the glass and stir to mix.
    • Garnish with maraschino cherries and pineapple wedges. Enjoy.
