    Tips for Make-ahead and Storing

Make-Ahead - Make the dip up to 12 hours ahead and store in the refrigerator in an airtight covered container.

Storage - Leftovers can be kept in an airtight covered container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Freezer - I don't recommend freezing the dip because dairy ingredients do not freeze well.

    Eileen's Tips for Success

    • Room Temperature: For best results, the cream cheese should be at room temperature to blend easily.
    • Marshmallow Fluff Trick: If the jar of marshmallow fluff is difficult to open, microwave it for 20 seconds to loosen the lid.

    • Cream Cheese: Try any of the following instead of cream cheese: low-fat cream cheese, mascarpone cheese, or silken tofu.
    • Room Temperature Cream Cheese: It is very important to use room temperature cream cheese so the dip is not lumpy.
    • Extracts: Try adding almond extract, lemon extract, or vanilla extract to the dip.
    • Pink Fruit Dip: Add maraschino cherry juice to the dip to make a pink fruit dip
    • Boozy Adult Fruit Dip: Add a liqueur such as 1 Tablespoon Ammaretto or Gran Marnier for an adults only dip.
