How to make Nutella Whipped Cream

  1. Add the heavy cream to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment. Beat on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form.
  2. Add the Nutella and whisk just until combined. Set aside.

Assemble the Brownie Trifles

  1. Place the Nutella in a small, microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, or until the Nutella is warm and pourable.
  2. Place ½ cup of crumbled brownie in the bottom of each dish.
  3. Next, layer over ¼ cup of Nutella whipped cream, followed by a drizzle of melted Nutella, and 1 tablespoon of chopped hazelnuts.
  4. Repeat each of the layers again.
  5. Top with ¼ cup whipped cream.
  6. Serve immediately.

Storage - Store the small trifle bowls in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Freezing - You can also freeze this chocolate brownie trifle. Place the individual trifles or one large trifle bowl into an airtight covered container and freeze up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before serving.
