- 1 ( 4.5) ounce can, diced green chilies
- 1 (14.5) ounce can, fire-roasted diced tomatoes, with juices
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cups water
- 12 ounces dry spaghetti
- 1 Tablespoon tomato paste
- salt, to taste optional
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- chopped cilantro or parsley, optional garnish
