    One Pan Ravioli Piccata

    One-Pan Ravioli Piccata is a really easy and fast dish with ravioli and lots of yummy lemon cream sauce. This dish is the perfect date night recipe. It is inexpensive, easy to make, and great for lunch too!

    • unsalted butter
    • garlic, peeled and minced
    • capers
    • fresh cheese ravioli 
    • chicken stock
    • heavy cream
    • lemon zest from half the lemon,
    • half of the lemon sliced for garnish
    • salt and black pepper, to taste
    • parmesan cheese, grated garnish

    Equipment

    • Large pan
    • Measuring cup
    • Measuring spoon

    Instructions

    1. Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat.
    2. Add the garlic and capers and saute until fragrant, around 1 ½ to 2 minutes.
    3. Add the ravioli and fry for 2 more minutes, this gives the ravioli a garlicky and buttery taste.
    4. Add the chicken stock and toss to combine. Your ravioli should be al dente.
    5. Cover with a lid and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or according to package directions.
    6. Stir in the heavy cream, lemon zest, and salt and pepper and stir once more to combine everything together before removing from heat
    7. Add lemon slices for garnish. The zest is responsible for the flavor.
    8. Sprinkle with fresh parmesan cheese and fresh chopped parsley, and lemon slices for garnish.

    Storage

    Leftovers can be stored in an airtight covered container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

    Yes, you can use any type of ravioli that you prefer.
