    Variations

Do you want to change up this recipe? Here are some ways to change the flavor of this dish.

    • Liquor: If you want even more flavor in the peppermint cocktail, add chocolate liqueur, white creme de cacao, or coffee liqueur to the peppermint schnapps cocktail.
    • Garnish: Instead of using candy canes, you could use crushed peppermint bark to decorate the glass.
    • Mint leaves will add a nice garnish to the holiday cocktail.
