Chocolate Chip Cookie Directions
Step 1: Whisk the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, in a medium-sized mixing bowl, until combined.
Step 2: Use a standing mixer with paddles attached, or a large mixing bowl and a hand mixer with beaters attached, cream butter, white sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
Step 3: Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet until combined.
Step 4: Fold in the chocolate chips. Cover and place into the fridge while you make the brownie batter.
Brownie Instructions
Step 1: Whisk the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt in a separate large mixing bowl.
Step 2: Using a standing mixer, beat the melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder until combined.
Step 3: Beat in the eggs until combined.
Step 4: Gradually beat in the dry ingredients until combined and a dough forms.
Step 5: Mix in 3⁄4 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Step 6: Place dough into the fridge for 15 minutes.
Step 7: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Step 8: Remove both doughs from the fridge. Using a small ice cream scooper, scoop out a small amount of both doughs into your hand
Step 9: Roll the dough into 1 ball to create a brookie.
Step 10: Place onto the cookie sheet and press down lightly to create a thick disk. Repeat the steps until both doughs are all used.
Step 11: Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top of the dough.
Step 12: Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
