Maple Glazed Ham is an easy and quick recipe for a decadently delicious spiral ham. We are using a boneless ham which makes the entire process even easier however, a bone-in ham can be used. A perfect recipe for Holidays like Easter and Christmas.
One of my favorite Holiday meals is a baked spiral ham. It's not only delicious but it's easy to make and the leftovers are great. Just try our Creamy Ham and Pea Pasta.
This is also a great recipe for a newer cook to start with when you want to make a special meal. It is super easy to prepare and always delicious.
Ingredients
- Spiral Ham: We use a boneless spiral ham. The maple glaze will work on a bone-in ham and smoked whole ham.
- Pure Maple Syrup: Be sure to use pure maple syrup. Please do not use "pancake syrup" for this glaze.
- Light Brown Sugar: If using dark brown sugar, the ham will have a molasses flavor.
- Dijon mustard: is awesome and adds a nice zing to the maple syrup. If unavailable, brown mustard will work.

Leftovers and Storage
- When I make any baked ham, I want leftovers because there are so many things to make with them. Check out my leftover ham recipes. The leftovers can be kept in a covered container or storage bag in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- You can also freeze the leftover ham and use within 3 months.
- To make this ahead of time, I would only make it one day ahead if needed. The morning of an event is also a good time to make the ham.
