Why drink green juice
Detox Lean Mean Green Juice is perfect for a snack or after workout drink! Green superfood veggies combined with a few of my favorite green fruits make a perfect juice!
Juicing is a great way to get veggies in your diet especially for those who don't love veggies. Personally, veggies rock but I have those who need them hidden and green juice is a great way to get everyone veggied up.
After a big party or Holiday Season, I try and be even more careful about what I eat and drink!
I am a juicer! Doesn't it sound like a confession?
I picture myself in a room with the bright light shining on me and I finally break, okay, yes I admit, I juice!! 🙂 haha! Thus, here we have my Detox Mean Lean Green Juice Recipe! Trust me, it's so good and a perfect juice for a beginner, besides the superfood veggies, there is the sweetness from apples and kiwis.
Is green juice really good for you?
Being a juice that is full of veggies, green juice is loaded with antioxidants. The US National Library of Medicine has specific information on health benefits.
What sweetens the juice?
Add the apple and kiwi balances the veggies for a very nice tasting drink that is sweetened naturally.
Can the juice be refrigerated after it's made?
The juice can separate after it's made. I find it best to drink right after making it but I have kept it in the fridge for up to 4 hours.
Is this a meal replacer?
Nope. We make this for a nutritious treat. A great way to add in veggies and fruit. Talk to your doctor about any nutrition matters.
