How to make Breakfast Sliders
This is an overview of the recipe. The full instructions are below in the recipe card.

- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. You could also use this air fryer bacon method.

- Drain most of the bacon grease, leaving about 1 tablespoon in the skillet. Add the ground sausage and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up as it cooks. Remove from heat.

- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.

- Return the skillet to medium heat and add 1 tablespoon butter. Pour in the egg mixture and cook, gently stirring, until soft scrambled eggs form and are just set.

- Place the bottom halves of the pretzel slider buns in the prepared baking dish.

- Layer the cooked sausage evenly over the buns.

- Finish with the cheese slices and bacon. Then add the top bun.

- Melt the remaining butter and stir in the maple syrup. Brush the mixture generously over the tops of the buns.

- Bake uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the sliders are warmed through. Remove from the oven, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.
How to store Breakfast Sliders
Storage - Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until warmed through.
Make ahead - Assemble the sliders the night before, cover, and refrigerate. Add the butter and maple glaze just before baking.
Freezing - Wrap individual sliders in foil and store in a freezer-safe bag for up to 2 months.

Eileen's Tips for the Best Breakfast Sliders

- Use good-quality pretzel buns for the best texture.
- Brush the butter mixture evenly so every bun gets flavor.
- Let the sliders rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Cook the bacon until crisp so it holds its texture.
