    Eileen's Tips for Success

    • For easy clean-up, spray the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray or use a slow cooker liner.
    • I recommend using fresh jalapenos for this recipe to get the best flavor and heat.
    • Chopped thick-cut bacon, fresh parsley, or sliced green onions all make a great garnish for this slow cooker dip recipe. So, don't worry you have lots of options!

    Variations

Here are some ways to vary the flavors of the recipe.

    • Creaminess: Add Greek yogurt or sour cream to the cream cheese mixture.
    • Spice: Add hot peppers or cayenne pepper to the dip.
    • Mild: Not a fan of spice? Use mild green chiles instead of hot peppers.
    • Protein: Add in cooked spicy sausage for extra protein to this cheesy jalapeno popper dip
    • Cheese: Try Mexican blend, Monterey jack cheese, or mozzarella cheese for this easy crockpot jalapeno dip.

    NOTES

Be sure to check the Expert Tips and FAQs above with important tips and questions that can help make a delicious recipe.
Note 1: we recommend blocks of cream cheese.
Note 2: For best results, shred the cheddar cheese and do not use pre-shredded cheese. Pre-shredded cheese tends to have a film on it which does not melt well.
Note 3: The nutritional facts are based on the dip. It does not include crackers or tortillas.
Any nutritional data I provide is an approximation and actual dietary information can vary based on ingredients and proportion sizes.
