    Steps to make slow cooker chicken with Buffalo sauce to make shredded chicken sandwiches.
    1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
    2. Cover the chicken with the ranch seasoning, and add all the buffalo wing sauce to the slow cooker.
    3. Place the butter on top of the ingredients and secure the lid.
    4. Cook on low for 5 hours.
    5. After 5 hours, use forks or meat claws to shred chicken and mix well.
    6. Switch the slow cooker to the warm setting and let it rest for 30 minutes.
    7. Load up the bottom portion of the hoagie with some buffalo chicken and top with blue cheese and provolone. Cut it in half. Enjoy!

    This recipe will last in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days.

    You can also freeze the shredded chicken for up to three months.

    • If you are low carb, instead of making this dish into a sandwich you serve it over a bed of lettuce or with your favorite sandwich toppings in a bowl.
    • Brush some melted butter on top of your buns and toast them in the oven if you like a little crunch to your buns.
    • Instead of using chicken breasts, you could use boneless skinless chicken thighs or even a pork roast for this dish.

    Instructions

    • Place 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast    in the slow cooker.
    • Cover the chicken with 2 cups Buffalo sauceand 1 ounce ranch dressing seasoning .
    • Place ½ cup unsalted butter cubes over the top of the chicken and sauce.
    • Cook on low for 5 hours. After 5 hours, shred the chicken and mix well.
