- Preheat the oven to 350°F/177°C. Lightly grease or butter a 9" x 13" baking dish.
- Place the 10 cinnamon rolls in a single layer at the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Pour the heavy cream over the top of the cinnamon rolls and in between each roll.
- In a small mixing bowl add 4 Tablespoons of the melted butter and stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Pour the brown sugar butter mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
- Cover the pan with foil and place it into the preheated oven. Bake for 30 minutes, and check the rolls to see if they are cooked through. ( Insert a toothpick into the center of the buns, if the toothpick comes out clean, they are cooked through. If not, bake another 5 minutes and check the center again. Oven temperatures vary and it is best to check the level of doneness.)
- Remove the rolls from the oven and set them aside while preparing the cream cheese icing.
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl add the remaining 4 Tablespoons of butter and the 4 ounces of cream cheese.
- Microwave for 30 seconds just until the butter and cream cheese are very soft.
- Whisk the butter and cream cheese together until well combined.
- Add in the 2 containers of icing that come with the cinnamon rolls. Whisk in the powdered sugar.
- Spread the icing all over the top of the cinnamon rolls. Serve!

The difference between cinnamon rolls and cinnamon buns is in the shape. Cinnamon rolls are typically rolled into a log shape and then sliced into rolls. Cinnamon buns are formed by rolling the dough into a flat rectangle and then rolling it up into a log.
Yes! These cinnamon rolls can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge overnight.
Simply follow all of the recipe instructions up until it's time to bake them.
