- Place the cheeseburgers into the greased air fryer basket and cook them at 375°F for 8 minutes, until the internal temperature is almost at 160°F, or your desired level of doneness, using an instant-read meat thermometer.
- Divide the remaining 2 Tablespoons BBQ sauce and top the air-fried burgers with the sauce and a slice of American cheese.
- Return the burgers to the air fryer for 2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
