Eileen's Tips for the Best Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu, Every Time

    • For easy cleanup, spray the slow cooker vessel well with nonstick cooking spray or use a slow cooker liner.
    • Make sure you place the water over the top of the stuffing so that your stuffing doesn't dry out.
    • Try not to remove the lid during cooking, or your slow cooker won't retain the heat, and it will take longer to cook.
    • Use an Instant Read Meat Thermometer to check that the chicken is at 165°F/74°C when fully cooked.
